Learning About Diabetes: App
Learning About Diabetes, or LAD for short, is a diabetes app created in collaboration with Paul Tracey and designer Seymour Chwast. The objective was to translate Tracey and Chwast’s board game to create an entertaining and engaging digital iPhone app that is easy to use for all ages. Another objective was teaching an extensive range of health related topics about diabetes in a fun and engaging way, reaching a wider demographic.
Single Player
Single player allows the user to learn and test themselves through a variety of diabetes-related topics.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer allows the user to connect and play with their friends sending a game code through text message. Learning About Diabetes will then randomly choose a topic to test the group on, and will then show the group leaderboard rankings at the end of each round.
